He's Still Alive

Ask him how he doing and his response is "I'm still alive". Ask him how old he is and he'll tell you he's 95 of 100 (he's only 93).

Right now he's in Hospice care at home with Connie. Last week we were able to get him out of bed and to the table to eat but it was difficult and painful for him. He's staying in bed now and has a CNA come to house to 5 days a week and a RN comes once a week.

We plan on keeping him at home as long as we can, when it's no longer possible he will go to the Hospice facility where there will be more help. Connie is doing a great job taking care of his needs now.

Connie will pass on any comments received.
Bye for now.
Sam

Hi Sam! Thanks for creating this blog. Please tell Sam Sr. I love him very much and am thinking of him. I enjoy listening to his stories when I come visit. Please give him a warm hug and a kiss for me. You are all in my heart and prayers.
Love, Audrey

Thanks Audrey, Connie will pass this on to him.
Did you have any problems leaving your comment? I'm still new at this stuff.
How are you and your mom doing? This could be a good way to keep in touch.
